Welcome to Data Studio!
Data Studio lets you create dynamic, visually compelling reports and dashboards. With Data Studio, you can:
  • Easily connect to a variety of data sources.
  • Visualize your data through attractive, dynamic, and interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Share and collaborate with others, just as you can in Google Drive.

What you need to use Data Studio

Anyone with a web browser can view a Data Studio report. A Google account is not required to view reports.
To create reports and data sources, you must:
  • be signed into a Google account
  • be in one of the supported countries (see below)
  • be able to use Google Drive

Supported browsers

Data Studio has been tested on the Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers. Editing reports and data sources on other browsers is not recommended at this time.

Supported countries

You can use Data Studio anywhere, with the following exceptions:

List of unsupported countries

  • People's Republic of China*
  • Sudan
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Crimea
  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Cuba
* You may view but not create reports in these countries.

Components of the visual editor The Optimize visual editor consists of ;three main components:  – The app bar  – The editor palette  – The current selection The app bar The app bar consists of the following components:   Experiment name  – Displays the name of the current experiment.   Experiment status  – Displays the status of the current experiment.   Variant picker  – Drop-down list of current variants, and where more variants can be added.   Change list  – Displays a list of all the changes made in the editor for this variant.   Property panel toggle  – Turns the property panel on and off.   Interactive mode  – Allows you to access parts of your website that are dynamic, such as drop-down menus, slideshows, etc. Click this button to enable Interactive mode, expose the element you wish to edit, then switch back to Editing mode to make changes.   Hierarchy bar  – Displays where the current selection lives in the page structure.
